I'm taking Designing for Play because the class seemed intriguing and I would like to receive my gaming certificate from Texas Tech if possible (These classes fill up quickly). I want to get a better picture of how game designing is done from a producer's standpoint, rather than how it's received from a consumer's standpoint like I'm used to. I am very big on video games, specifically first shooters and rhythm games like Destiny 2, Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six Siege, and Osu. I previously was on Texas Tech's eSports A-Team for Rainbow Six Siege both as a player and as their data analyst. I frequently play board games like Monopoly, UNO, Chess, Codenames, and more.
